Napa Valley, where world famous wines and gourmet food are only a small part of this luxurious area. Napa Valley is located north of the San Francisco Bay Area. Once the producer of many different crops, Napa Valley is known today for its wine industry. Rising in the 1960’s Napa Valley is widely considered one of the top American viticulture areas in California, and all of the United States. By the end of the 19th century there were more than 140 wineries in the area, and current day count at 400. In addition to large scale wineries, Napa Valley’s boutique wineries produce some of the world’s best wines. With Napa’s climate, Napa wineries favor varietals such as Cabernet Sauvignon, while Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are more the specialty of Sonoma wineries. A great Napa experience includes reclining poolside at a lavish resort, eating at top-rated restaurants, or taking to the skies with a balloon ride.
Nestled at the gateway to California’s premier winemaking region, Napa Valley Marriot Hotel & Spa welcomes guests with the perfect blend of local charm and resort style amenities. Unwind in beautifully designed guest rooms with wine country accents and elegant furnishings. Outside, serene gardens, warmly lit fire pits, and a sparkling resort-style pool beckon relaxation. Sumptuous on-site dining and a luxurious, full-service spa complement the experience. Ideal for the discerning business traveler or leisure guest, our Napa Valley hotel accommodations feature a central location near the top area attractions. Explore the legendary wine country, dine at an array of Napa Valley restaurants, and visit nearby wineries such as Robert Mondavi Winery & Castello Di Amorosa. Additionally, we offer more than 20,000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor Napa Valley meeting and event space. Whether you’re here to work, relax, or enjoy a bit of both, you’re sure to have an unforgettable time in Napa Valley.
