Welcome to Manchester! Meet and greet with your professional tour guide and driver, travel by luxury coach and enjoy a panoramic city tour of Manchester.

Saturday, October 10

  • Visit the Beatles Story in Liverpool city centre

Replicas of the Casbah, Mathew Street and The Cavern authentically capture the early 60s, allowing you to personally experience the very places that helped make The Beatles the greatest band in the world.

Hear the story unfold through our complimentary ‘Living History’ audio guides, which are available in twelve different languages. With special exhibitions, authentic memorabilia and exclusive photographs, there’s all this and much more at this award-winning attraction.

  • Transfer from Liverpool to Manchester City
    1:00 p.m. – Arrive The Etihad Stadium

   VS.

Manchester City v ???????, currently scheduled to kick-off at 15.00hrs but this may be subject to change. Match tickets at both games are situated with the home supporters. The wearing of away colours, or expressions of support for the away team will result in expulsion from the ground.

Premier League fixtures are released traditionally in the second week in June for the following season. Fixtures are scheduled for Saturdays with a 3pm kick-off. Subsequent to that they can be re-scheduled to kick-off at any time or day that weekend for television purposes. This year the televised October games were released on August 6th.

  • 5:30 p.m. – Depart the stadium
  • 6:00 p.m. –  Arrive the Trafford Centre Shopping Mall (free time for dinner

Day 4

Sunday, October 11

  • Early morning check-out and transfer to Holyhead for morning ferry to Dublin Port
  • 5:30 a.m. –  Depart hotel and travel to Holyhead
  • 7:45 a.m. – Arrive Holyhead and check in for the Stena Line Crossing
  • 8:45 a.m. – Stena Superfast X departs

  • 12:15 p.m. –  Arrive in Dublin port
  • ‘Cead Mile Failte’ ‘A hundred thousand welcomes’ your coach disembarks and tour guide travel with you to explore Ireland.
  • Dublin city Ireland’s capital city is steeped in history and buzzing with youthful energy. Medieval, Georgian and Modern styles of architecture provide a backdrop to a friendly bustling port built on the river Liffey. We enjoy a panoramic city orientation tour, sights include Dublin’s GPO and O’Connell Street, Trinity College, Dublin’s Georgian Squares, St Patricks Cathedral and Christchurch.
  • Free time in Dublin for lunch
  • This afternoon visit Croke Park, Irelands national stadium for Gaelic football and Gaelic games. Enjoy a tour of Croke park stadium and GAA (Gaelic Athletic Association) Museum
  • Check-in to the Ashling Hotel or similar for 2 nights
  • Dinner in hotel this evening

Day 5

Sunday, October 12
Full Irish breakfast is served in your hotel daily

  • This morning we continue our tour of Dublin city

  • 10:00 a.m. – Visit EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum
    Irish history should never be a long list of names and dates, it should be an experience. Get hands On with Irish culture and its past with our fully interactive museum – swipe through video galleries, dance through motion sensor quizzes, listen to remastered audio from 100 years ago and watch videos that bring Irish history to life.

  • Free time in Dublin for lunch
  • 2:00 p.m. – Depart Dublin city and transfer a short distance to Celbridge (20 minutes)
    Meet the Salesian Catholic Order of Brothers who established and run a Catholic High School of 700 male students. Enjoy a talk by one of the Salesian Brothers and learn about Catholic education in Ireland.

  • Dinner in a local restaurant in Celbridge

Day 6

Tuesday, October 13

  • 6:30 p.m. – Check-out of your hotel
  • 9:00 a.m. – Travel to Kilkenny City
  • 10:30 a.m. – Visit Kilkenny Castle, a sight to behold build on an expanse parkland forwalks along the River. Historic walking tour to St Canice’s cathedral, Rothe House and Kilkenny Castle. Time at leisure to enjoy the boutiques and craft shops in this medieval city.

  • Free-time in Kilkenny to explore the Medieval Mile and cobbled stone streets.
  • 1:00 p.m. – Depart and transfer to Stonyford Village
  • 1:30 p.m. – Enjoy Kilkenny Hurling Experience
    Learn how to hurl: in a relaxed, fun environment, learn all about Ireland ancient Gaelic game of hurling. Your host will guide you through the skills and history of this Gaelic game with audio visual aids and a short video. Then it’s out on to the field of play where you get to practise the skills of the game and compete against your fellow guests in a series of skills and challenges.

  • 3:30 p.m. – Depart Stonyford and Continue to Galway to check-in for 2 nights
  • 6:30 p.m. – Galmont Hotel or similar with dinner on arrival

Day 7

Wednesday, October 14

  • Depart and transfer to nearby town of Rossaveal to travel by ferry to the Aran Island, Inismor. On the island you will experience the Irish language, culture and traditional Irish way of life. Enjoy a visit to Dun Aenghasa and a trip by mini bus. This region is steeped in natural beauty and coastal vistas.

  • Overnight in Galway

Day 8

Thursday, October 15

Check-out and travel to Galway City. Enjoy some free time in Galway City. Explore the narrow, pedestrian streets and you will discover the heart of Galway. Fun street performers, quaint shops and pubs give you plenty to enjoy.

  • 11:00 a.m. – Depart Galway and journey via the Burren to the Cliffs of Moher.
  • Next stop America!

The Cliffs of Moher are one of Ireland’s top Visitor attractions. The Cliffs are 214m high at the highest point and range for 8 kilometres over the Atlantic Ocean on the western seaboard of County Clare. O’Brien’s Tower stands proudly on a headland of the majestic Cliffs. From the Cliffs one can see the Aran Islands, Galway Bay, as well as The Twelve Pins, the Maum Turk Mountains in Connemara and Loop Head to the South. The Cliffs of Moher take their name from a ruined promontory fort “Mothar” which was demolished during the Napoleonic wars to make room for a signal tower.

  • Late afternoon transfer to Athlone – the centre of Ireland on the map!
  • A historic town on the River Shannon, dominated by its Castle towers.
  • Farewell evening dinner in the Portside Restaurant, part of Sean’s Bar, the oldest pub in Ireland enjoy some traditional Irish Music.

Friday, October 16

Morning transfer to Dublin Airport (90 minutes by coach)
