Itinerary
Day 1: Saturday, February 1, 2020
- Cancun Arrival Check your provided flight itinerary, and plan to be at your respective airport at least three hours prior to flight departure. Make sure you contact your airlines to verify your flight schedule within 24 hours of travel for any schedule updates. Also, please check with your specific airline carrier regarding information on baggage fees, allowances, weight and restrictions.
- Welcome to Cancun! Upon arrival in Cancun, enter the airport and proceed through Immigration where you present your passport and Tourist Card that you complete on the plane before landing. Then go to baggage claim and locate your luggage. Next, follow the signs to Customs and present your Customs declaration card. They may want to inspect your luggage; you will be instructed to press a button on a light resembling a traffic signal. A green light means that your bags will pass without inspection and a red light means that your bags will be inspected.
- After Customs, proceed directly outside the airport, through the sliding glass doors and past the barrage of tour vendors. Do not let these vendors stop you, as all of your transportation needs are taken care of, and optional tours can be arranged at the resort.
- Once outside the terminal, look for representatives holding Habegger logo or Sunwing Experiences signs that will direct you to the transfer. The representatives will be wearing orange shirts. The transfer to Now Emerald Cancun will take about 20 minutes.
- Arrive at the Now Emerald Cancun, and check-in for your six-night all-inclusive stay. Please be ready to present your passport, your Mexican tourist card that is given to you upon arrival in Cancun, and a credit card for any incidental charges. The bellmen will deliver your luggage to your room. Please be patient as official check-in time is 3:00pm. This evening, join the group for a welcome reception. You will receive more details regarding this reception upon arrival.
Day 2 & 3: Sunday, February 2 – Monday, February 3, 2020
- Free Days Visit James in the lobby with any questions you have about the resort or to find out information on optional excursions. He will advise the time and location of lobby hours on-site. Enjoy the amenities the resort has to offer during your stay. Participate in one of the optional activities or relax by the pool!
Day 4: Tuesday, February 4, 2020
- This morning, head out for your pre-selected optional tour! You will receive more information on-site regarding a departure time and location for your optional tour. Once your optional tour is complete, return to the hotel and spend the remainder of the day at leisure.
Day 5: Wednesday, February 5, 2020 – Free Day
- Visit James in the lobby with any questions you have about the resort or to find out information on optional excursions. He will advise the time and location of lobby hours on-site. Enjoy the amenities the resort has to offer during your stay. Participate in one of the optional activities or relax by the pool!
Day 6: Thursday, February 6, 2020 – Private Farewell Dinner
- Visit James in the lobby with any questions you have. James will deliver under-the-door notices today with departure related information for all guests. This evening, join the group for a farewell dinner.
Day 7: Friday, February 7, 2020 – Cancun Departure
- Enjoy your last morning in paradise. Remember to settle any incidental charges at the front desk before departing. Transfer to the airport for your flight home. James will provide details about your luggage and transfer time. Board your flight (per your individual flight itinerary) and return home with wonderful memories of a great trip!
