Dear IUSD Alumni,

We hope you will join other Indiana University School of Dentistry alumni and friends on our trip to the Western Caribbean in 2026. We enjoyed a wonderful trip to Canada/New England last fall but are now turning our sights to the warm Caribbean. Our next cruise is Sunday, February 8 through Sunday, February 15, 2026. Not only will we experience the tropical breezes of the Caribbean in the winter, but we are going over Valentine’s Day as well!  We are excited about the destinations and the opportunities we have for you to enjoy the camaraderie of traveling with your fellow alumni.

Celebrity is a premier cruise line offering spaciousness and elegance with fewer guests and more personal attention. It has a wide variety of amenities and activities, along with the freedom to do as you please.

We will be sailing the Western Caribbean leaving out of Tampa, FL, with the following ports of call: Cozumel, Belize City, and Puerto Costa Maya. As a festive way to begin our trip, we will have an alumni welcoming reception on board hosted by the Dean and the Alumni Association. At the end of our cruise, we will have our farewell reception.

We will provide twenty hours of Continuing Education (10 hours of onboard lectures and 10 hours of self-study). It is the goal of the IUSD and its Alumni Association to give you an exceptional value including stateroom, continuing education, and cocktail parties for a very reasonable price.

We suggest that you book your cabin as soon as possible so you can be assigned the best stateroom available. We will not be able to hold the staterooms with Celebrity at this price forever.

History buffs will surely love exploring the lesser-known Mayan ruins, Cacchoben and Kohunlich; meanwhile there’s something for everyone at the new shopping mall, which, while great for shopping, also features a central plaza with saltwater pools and ‘swim-up’ bars.

Continuing education opportunities will include ten (10) hours of shipboard lecture and opportunities for up to ten (10) hours of self-study for a total of 22 potential hours.
